Description
- The story is about two childhood friends - Anu (Reema Sen), daughter of a government official, and Chanti (Uday Kiran), son of a widowed servant. Anu and Chanti get separated when Anu's father got transferred, but the two promise to each other to meet in the later period of their life. Anu then goes to Malaysia for studies while Chanti loses her mother, but is adopted by Mohan Rao (Chandramohan) who renames him as Venu. Years later, Anu returns to India and starts writing a story for a magazine that is actually her real life story. Anu's motive behind this is to find her childhood friend Chanti / Venu.
