Description
- This is a story about a young and poor couple Ganesh (Vishnuvardhan) and Uma (Aarati). Ganesh is in search ofa spouse for his sister Gowri (Mahalakshmi). Mohan (Dwarakish), who likes Gowri, agrees for marriage, but his mother asks for dowry, and her demand keeps on increasing. Ganesh and Uma promise to fulfil their requirement. For that, Ganesh sends a letter to his relatives asking for financial help. Days roll by as Ganesh and Uma try to gather money, but all their efforts go in vain. Finally, the day comes, and Ganesh still falls short to fulfil the demands. Running out of funds, will Ganesh and his family be able to carry out this marriage without enough money, specially when Mohan's family want to loot them of everything they can arrange?
