Description
- Prashant (Ratheesh) and his wife Mrithula (Shobana) are a happily married couple. When Mrithula is pregnant, she gets injured in an accident. In the accident, the child is miscarried and she loses hopes of becoming pregnant again. She risks her life to become pregnant and gives birth to a baby girl. But, she dies during the delivery. Years later, Prashant is admitted in a hospital, and his daughter, Chukkymol (Baby Shalini) pays him a visit. Chukkymol becomes friends with Maya, a nurse in the hospital, and after spending few days together they become inseparable. Seeing Maya's love for the child, Prashant marries her. When Prashant's father finds about his marriage, he is not in its favor. He asks Prashant to divorce Maya and marry a girl of his father's choice. He threatens Prashant that if he doesn't do as he says, Prashant will be thrown out of his home, company and life.
