Chandran (Mammooty) is a truck driver, and Ravi (Mukesh) is his helper. Ravi regards Chandran as his elder brother. Chandran spends most of his time drinking or with women, while Ravi saves money as he has a family to support. While going to his village, Ravi meets with an accident. Chandran reaches Ravi's village with his dead body. Chandran realizes the miserable conditions of Ravi's family and decides stay for a few days.
