Description

  • Mannar Mathai (Innocent) runs a drama group under the name of Urvashi Theatres. The lead actors of this troop are Gopalakrishnan (Mukesh) and Balakrishnan (Saikumar). Shakunthala (Priyanka), who is the main actress of the troop, leaves the company after a dispute with Gopalakrishnan. The drama troupe starts facing trouble without a lead actress. Gopalakrishnan takes up the responsibility to find a new actress. After a tiring search for an actress, Gopalakrishnan, on his way back home, meets Meera (Vani Viswanath) as she tries to commit suicide. But, Gopalakrishnan manages to rescue her. He brings her to the drama troupe and makes her the lead actress of their play. Gopalakrishnan tells Mannar Mathai that Meera will only act if he gets the hero's role and he also lies that Meera is his cousin and fiance. However, Balakrishnan does not believe in what Gopalakrishnan said, and he brings Gopalakrishnan's mother (Sukumari) to clarify things out. Then Gopalakrishnan starts a series of lies to hide one lie. On his mother's insistence, he gets married to Meera. But, after the marriage, Meera tries to commit suicide again. Gopalakrishnan, at once, takes her to a doctor where he gives her electric shock which helps her to regain her lost memory. Meera reveals that her real husband is Mahendra Varma (Biju Menon), who is a garment exporter in banglore. Later she commits suicide by setting fire to herself. After 3 months, Balakrishnan sees Meera alive in Manglore, but nobody believes him. Balakrishnan goes through a plethora of mysteries to find the truth about Meera.
