The Catastrophe

'The catastrophe' is a social melodrama that narrates the struggle of a simple farmer, Bora (Indra Bania). Bora is compelled to hand over his farms to the greedy landowner after he is asked for the mortgage receipts that were never provided. Subsequently, Bora loses his farm animals and has to send his son to works for the wicked landlord. Bora faces even more humiliation when he has to put up the political banners citing the virtues of the man who had turned his life hell that is the landlord.
