Sardar (1993) is a film on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel one of Indias greatest freedom fighters. The movie shows how he didnt approve of Mahatma Gandhis preachings and how one day after listening to him he starts working with Gandhiji. Sardar is seen successfully arranging Satyagrahas in Gujarat. The film also shows the differences between Sardar Patel and Nehru. The movie shows us some great insights from the pre independence period.
