This story begins with Dr. Morgan (Vincent Price) disposing dead bodies in a wasteland. His mission is to burn the dead bodies that are infected by plague as only fire can destroy them entirely or else they will turn into vampires. After losing his family because of this epidemic, he lives alone and craves for companionship. He finds a dog once, but to his dismay, even it is infected. One day he spots a woman in a field and brings her home, he tries to cure her with various kinds of experimentation. Will Dr. Morgan finally be able to save the human race with his discoveries?
