Description
- Raunak Kaul (Rajeev Khandelwal), a young small town musician comes to Mumbai. Raunak lives with his relative Surinder (Yatin Karyekar) who introduces him to a nightclub owner, Charlie (Mohan Kapoor). Raunak starts his music career from a sensational success at Charlie's nightclub by playing one of his composed songs in the club which the hip youngsters really crave for. He quickly adapts to the lifestyle of nightclub people and starts taking drugs and alcohol. Because of his growing bad habits, he is unable to focus and faces hearing problem. He takes advice of a doctor and is told that he has lost his hearing in the right ear while the left one is only 30 per cent functional. The doctor advises him to stay away from crowded place and avoid music as his profession. He also tells Raunak to leave his bad habit of taking drugs and alcohol and tells him to wear a hearing aid when needed. One day an accident occurs in his studio; taking away his hearing forever. Raunak gets very depressed, but soon he comes out of his depression and learns lip reading by a young teacher, named Gauri (Soha Ali Khan). Gauri and Raunak love each other, and soon Raunak starts feeling the music and composes music still being deaf. Watch this true event based musical movie and know more.
